The Races
Many of the peoples in this world grew different cultures, and evolution is rapid (over the course of the first 100 years, 1000 years of real world evolution occurred):
- The Sand Dwarves of the Free Principalities of Osheanya are spice merchants, farmers, and (for many): pranksters (many dwarves believe that if they embody wanderlust, playfulness, and creativity, Death will return to guide them to her realm). Their agricultural endeavors are guided by the Godserpent of Ying
- The Wave Dwarves of the Deep Kingdom developed swim bladders that allow them to sink or float and gills to breath water; they built their kingdom on the seafloor. Blessed by the Godsepent of Physics, their steampowered machines heat their homes and provide water to breath on land.
- Humans and Hin used to live in traveling family clans in the Saboroh mega-savannah. They have little to no magical capabilities, and thus were easily corrupted by El Diablo into his Demonic Army
- The Kobolds (descendants of the few gnomes that survived) are blessed with natural affinity to Arcane magic and quick hands for drawing/working. Master stonemasons and architects, the kobolds build into existing formations of nature, and create masterful gardens around them.
- The Cyclopes are blessed with Aberrant power, their single eye can read any language and project psychic power. Living in lush jungles, they create paper from specially treating different plants; each family has their own unique recipe.
- The Chihua-Alfei (also called Alfens), a species of Chihuahuas that can shapeshift into elven forms, are blessed by the Godserpent of Primal magic. They live in packs 3 - 7 strong, performing a pilgrimage to the base of the Thirst River, where their people originate, every decade to meet and come together with their people. Their innate magic is primal in nature
- The Sheelor (also called Drifters) are a unique species: They have the bodies of deer with the heads of gnomes, as well 3 sets of cyclops arms that grow from their backs. They have no Godserpent, as he died to protect his people from an incursion of El Diablo’s forces that seeked to make them all feral. Their innate magic is fey in nature.
The elves and most gnomes did not survive the early days of the world; they simply could not adapt to the world without their gods.
